Communications

The Hartselle Police Department employs five dispatchers in the Communications Room.  The dispatchers answer calls for and directs services for police, fire, and EMS.  There is normally one dispatcher per shift, however there are two identical consoles that can be utilized at the same time for extreme emergency situations.  The extra console can and has been used by other agencies as a back-up.
